      Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. There are also roles that require being on-site full time.       JOB SUMMARY:

      Assist the Travel Industry Sales Team in all aspects of the client engagement and sales interaction process including but not limited to the following: relationship building activities and meetings to achieve department business and financial objectives for Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood Travel Agency sales, through Universal Parks and Resort Vacations business model.

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Account Management: Manage assigned accounts, in order to increase annual revenue, each year. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to sales calls, developing business opportunities, conducting business reviews and enhancing UO website presence with accounts.
      • In-person Trainings/Events: Regularly manage and/or assist with on-site FAMs, trainings, and site inspections, on a channel-wide basis. Regularly, conduct account specific and industry wide training webinars. As needed, travel to conduct trainings and attend industry events/conferences.
      • Sales Administration: Help assist in the development and/or management of new and existing projects, by coordinating, organizing and operating these projects from the execution stage, through to completion.
      • SalesForce: Perform and track sales activities, opportunities and campaigns in SF. Create account profiles and develop strategic account plans, as required by management. Assist in overseeing travel agency account maintenance in Salesforce.
      • Digital Engagement: Consistently create and post content for Travel Agent engagement, education and entertainment through the Universal Partner Community and Social Media platforms. Help answer all questions posed by agents on a channel-wide basis.
      • Cross-Departmental Teamwork: Assist as a liaison with internal departments, including UPRV, Sales Integration, Finance, Operations, Resort Sales, Product Planning, and Event Sales.
      • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by management staff.

      EDUCATION:

      • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Sales and Marketing, Business, or Hospitality is preferred.
      • High school diploma required.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • 2+ years sales experience in the travel industry with existing knowledge and relationships with key accounts in the mentioned markets; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
      • Universal Orlando experience highly preferred.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
      • Working knowledge, experience with SalesForce.com preferred.
