      Opportunity

      Resan Partners is looking for a motivated individual with a background in Accounting and Tax, including experience serving High Net Worth Individuals and/or Business Owners. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to:

      Summary of Responsibilities

      • Work closely with Resan team to provide efficient service delivery and responsiveness to clients.
      • Manage tax and accounting processes across client base (individuals, partnerships, trusts) and the Resan business unit (e.g. monitor tax deadlines, prepare P&L and balance sheet statements, prepare 1099s, etc.)
      • Identify and resolve tax and other financial planning questions, including performing research and analysis as needed.
      • Assist with collection and review of annual tax documentation for all clients, including the tracking of charitable contributions, deductible interest, Schedule C income and expenses, etc.
      • Prepare quarterly portfolio review materials and maintain Resan’s internal CRM system. Includes working through detailed reporting, for import into the CRM and for preparation of deliverables.
      • Responsible for organizing and maintaining all client records, to ensure that administrative tasks for entities are monitored and completed (e.g. annual business renewals, invoice payments, etc.).
      • Administer the treasury management function for client entities and the Resan business unit (e.g. incoming/outgoing wires, confirmation of banking instructions, etc.)
      • Review and coordinate property and casualty insurance renewals, including payment of premiums and ongoing assessment of coverage limits
      • Assist in liaising with external advisor relationships: tax preparers, trust and estate attorneys, bankers, investment advisors, insurance brokers, etc.
      • Perform ad hoc duties as requested, with a no task too big or too small mindset.
      • Ability to work in-office 3 days per week.

      Qualifications

      • 3-5 years of combined public accounting and/or financial services industry experience
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required, CPA certification a plus
      • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to understand complex financial information
      • Experience with individual, trust, and entity taxation preferred
      • Effective time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and to manage multiple priorities
      • Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite
      • Personal characteristics of self-confidence, resourcefulness, initiative, detail orientation, strong problem resolution skills, self-motivation, discipline, demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for decisions, and to deal effectively with people in a variety of relationships and situations
      • All positions require core competencies of communication, leadership, ability to drive change and improve processes, innovative outlook and problem analysis
