Job Description
- Req#: REQ367129
- Closely track, record and update data on the Boston real estate market, including data related to properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and owners, the local economy, demographics and company performance, among other aspects of the market
- Will primarily cover the Industrial and Flex R&D asset types across New England.
- Follow established processes to ensure data excellence within our database, and regularly audit and refine datasets
- Solicit broker feedback to ensure high quality of data within our database.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and understand economic and real estate market drivers
- Present new projects, tools, and market insights and conditions as needed to internal teams and clients
- Create compelling visualizations and provide meaningful insights on local market data, trends and drivers
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of our technology tools
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, and data analysis skills
- Written and oral communication skills - must be able to write reports and be willing to grow presentation skills
- Ability to execute and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the firm
- Exposure or familiarity with visualization tools an added bonus
- Experience with analyzing and synthesizing large datasets
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience
- 1-2 years professional experience desired
- Demonstrated passion in real estate with a strong commitment to learning market dynamics
- Education in Economics, Business, Urban Planning or related field preferred, but will consider others.

Research Analyst – Boston
The Research Analyst will join the JLL Research team in Boston to build and continue to elevate a best-in-class research program that differentiates JLL.
You will have primary responsibility for collecting and analyzing data, maintaining and constantly elevating the quality of our data, and working with the Research team to present data in a compelling way. The Research Analyst will assist in tracking and analyzing all aspects of the local commercial real estate market, economic drivers and demographics and will leverage that knowledge proactively for research products, client projects and business development efforts. Successful candidates are passionate about what drives their city, economy and commercial real estate.
