      Job Summary:
      Westat has an opening for a Research Analyst to join our Public Health Practice to work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers focused on prevention research and other related areas of public health.

      Job Responsibilities:
      • Evaluate NIH funding applications and published literature to classify research based on an established taxonomy protocol.
      • Perform quality control for the classification of funding based on the established taxonomy protocol.
      • Manage a taxonomy classification database, conducting routine analytics.
      • Conduct portfolio analyses and perform classification and codification.
      • Develop training materials and facilitate the delivery of training on established taxonomy protocols.
      • Collaborate with the project team on the development of reports, promotional materials, and other deliverables.

      Basic Qualifications:
      • A master’s degree in public health is required.

      • Demonstrated communication skills.
      • Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
      • Ability to take initiative and work on a breadth of activities.
      • Organization skills, including time management ability.
      • Detail oriented.
