Position Summary:
In this position, the candidate will participate in a project aimed at predicting progression of Parkinson disease by assisting with organizing, curating, and processing large datasets according to data standards like BIDS. In particular, the candidate will work to create a pipeline catalogue and contribute to the Nipoppy standard framework using the Boutiques pipeline description.
Common neuroimaging preprocessing pipelines are FSL, FreeSurfer, AFNI on a distributed compute cluster, and datasets will include QPN, PPMI and Enigma-PD.
The candidate will also help with the documentation and development of this framework. He or she may additionally contribute to describing these pipelines with standardized terminology or linked data technologies.
In addition,
* The incumbent will be expected to independently develop tools that can contribute to published literature.
* The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and documentation of the developed tools.
* The incumbent will participate in publications associated with the project and will thus be a contributing author to the resulting publications.
* In addition to the research duties, the candidate will also be required to train new students and other personnel if the need arises, and perform other related duties.
Qualifications:
The position requires a strong background in Python, Linux, neuroimaging and Boutiques.

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 on a scale of 0-4.
