      Description

      The Research Assistant (RA) in the Division of Allergy and Immunology will be responsible for the coordination and administration of clinical trials and other research in the Division. The RA will help in developing, implementing and coordinating research and administrative tasks for the successful management of clinical trials and divisional research. The RA will be expected to perform a variety of duties such as study recruitment, coordination of sample collection, processing, as well as compilation, and documentation of research data. The duties will also include coordination with the IRB, and meeting all ethical, regulatory and legal requirements for each assigned study. The RA will work closely with the Divisional faculty, leadership, nurses, staff, A&I fellows and other trainees, as needed for completion of duties. The successful candidate should have superb organizational skills, be able to multitask, communicate effectively with a diverse team both with in the Division and with systems in and outside of Montefiore, as well as have proficiency in patient interactions.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor’s Degree required

      • Clinical research experience as well as experience working in a hospital setting and experience with persons with medical illnesses preferred.

      • Computer and data entry knowledge required, including Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

      • Ability to work independently.
