      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in the recruitment of participants for clinical trials, including advertising and screening processes
      - Conduct informed consent procedures and verify study eligibility with participants
      - Maintain participant tracking and scheduling for study visits
      - Perform outreach activities to ensure participant engagement and attendance
      - Monitor participants' physical and emotional conditions throughout the study

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or medical sciences, plus three (3) years of research-related experience
      - Certification as a Research Specialist (CRS) or equivalent to be completed within two years of hire
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; experience with electronic data capture systems preferred
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with subjects and team members
      - Ability to follow Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, HIPAA, and the Protection of Human Research Subjects

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with research participants who are substance users and at high risk for infections
      - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
      - Previous experience in clinical research or related fields
