- Preparing for visits by, for example, printing worksheets and labelling blood tubes in accordance with study protocols
- Calibration of specialist equipment
- Supporting physiotherapy assessments such as walk tests
- Independently acquiring data from participants such as demographics
- Administering patient questionnaires and cognitive tests following study protocols
- Centrifuging and aliquoting blood samples
- Experience and competency with software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Good planning and organisational skills to contribute efficiently to the research
- Motivation to learn new skills

The Neurogenetic clinical research program is part of the Centre for Brain Research. We conduct a variety of pharmaceutical, interventional and natural history studies for participants with conditions including ataxia, muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, Pompe disease and mitochondrial myopathies. The research is completed in collaboration with partners internationally or developed by investigations within the Neurogenetic research team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join us to support members of the research team including Study Coordinators, Physiotherapists and Research Nurses to complete research assessments.

This is a Full time, (37.5 hours per week), 12-month fixed term role, Salary Band: $58,300 - $72,700 pro rata dependent on experience

We are seeking someone with a relevant undergraduate degree e.g. health sciences, nursing, or physiotherapy, who has some work experience in a clinical or health research setting.
