What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Trace and retrieve medical record charts as needed
- Develop, maintain, and modify spreadsheets for data storage
- Sort charge universes using Microsoft Excel and other selection tools
- Accurately number and select samples for compliance reviews
- Assist compliance analysts with the completion of work papers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical billing or a healthcare-related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience with Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in compliance review processes
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and billing practices
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members
