      Research Assistant at Providence Portland Medical Center- Full-Time, Day Schedule

      This position travels to multiple sites in and out of the Portland metro area.

      Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year

      The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) will function under the supervision of the Clinical Research Supervisor and collaborate with the Clinical Research Nurses, Investigators, Coordinators, and Assistants in coordinating lab activities for clinical research studies of cancer, infectious diseases, critical care medicine, and other diseases/conditions treated and studied at Providence. This is not a clinical position, nor is it patient-facing.

      Required Qualifications:

      • Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience
      • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
      • Familiarity with medical and/or scientific terminology
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree
      • Clinical research experience
      • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs)
      • Laboratory experience
