      Job Description

      Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
      The role will require sampling, processing and storage of blood from patients who have had major abdominal surgery. It will involve using a new test to predict recovery or deterioration. The research assistant will also be expected to support other members of the clinical study team and perform administrative activities related to the study.

      This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), fixed term position until the end of Jan 2025.

      Remuneration: $58,300-$72,700 per annum dependent on experience

      The position would suit a trained Research Assistant with a Biomedical or Health Sciences degree and a minimum of one year clinical research experience with certification in Good Clinical Practice is essential.
