      Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

      • Routinely conduct (hands-on) bioanalysis and DMPK studies
      • Analyze data and maintain detailed, accurate and comprehensible study documentation
      • Interpretation of in vitro data derived from assays for internal review and external partners
      • Perform data analysis using GraphPad Prism
      • Follow University safety protocols (may include use of combustibles, biohazardous materials and fluids/tissues).
      • Perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions.
      • Operate and maintain high-throughput, semi-automated analytical instruments
      • Assist with general laboratory operations, including ordering supplies and consumables
      • Perform other duties as assigned; assist DMPK lab members with miscellaneous tasks.
      • Help maintain the instruments.

      Education and Experience Requirements:

      • A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a relevant field and
      • ≥ 2 years laboratory experience in enzymology, biochemistry, or molecular biology

      Qualifications:

      • The candidate must have experience in mass spectrometry
      • The scientist must have experience in assay design, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
      • Experience with LC-MS/MS is preferred and any knowledge of small molecule drug discovery processes and experience in a discovery project is a bonus.
      • Excellent ability to work well with others for both team and individualized activities
      • Good written and verbal communication skills
