Job Description

- Routinely conduct (hands-on) bioanalysis and DMPK studies
- Analyze data and maintain detailed, accurate and comprehensible study documentation
- Interpretation of in vitro data derived from assays for internal review and external partners
- Perform data analysis using GraphPad Prism
- Follow University safety protocols (may include use of combustibles, biohazardous materials and fluids/tissues).
- Perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions.
- Operate and maintain high-throughput, semi-automated analytical instruments
- Assist with general laboratory operations, including ordering supplies and consumables
- Perform other duties as assigned; assist DMPK lab members with miscellaneous tasks.
- Help maintain the instruments.
- A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a relevant field and
- ≥ 2 years laboratory experience in enzymology, biochemistry, or molecular biology
- The candidate must have experience in mass spectrometry
- The scientist must have experience in assay design, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Experience with LC-MS/MS is preferred and any knowledge of small molecule drug discovery processes and experience in a discovery project is a bonus.
- Excellent ability to work well with others for both team and individualized activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
