      ICFs Social Marketing R esearch team is looking for a research associate to support various research and evaluation activities. The team uses qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., systematic reviews, environmental scans, in-depth interviews, focus groups, surveys, secondary data analyses, observations, content analyses) to conduct theory-based formative, process, and summative evaluation and strategic planning projects. The team’s work ultimately guides the planning, implementation, and evaluation of national health communications and social marketing programs and activities.

      As a Research Associate , you will:

      • Help develop recruitment and data collection materials (e.g., format surveys or interview guides).
      • Support sampling (e.g., search for sources in EBSCO, Google Scholar, and other portals ; schedule individual or group interviews with potential participants ; distribute survey invitations).
      • Assist with data collection (e.g., abstract information from the sources , take notes during individual or group discussions).
      • Support qualitative data analysis (e.g., c ode text using software such as NVivo).
      • Assist with reporting (e.g., c reate and format tables and graphs using software such as Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint, manage reference lists using software such as EndNote ).
      • Coordinate purcha sing, subcontracting, and consulting requisitions by obtaining and comparing vendor and consultant quotes, establishing suitable justification s , developing or modifying forms , and processing payments .

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Masters’ degree in public health , marketing, social sciences or related field
      • 2+ years r elevant experience
      • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust

      Professional Skills:

      • Strong English verbal and written communication, organizational, and administrative skills
      • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
      • High level of attention to detail
      • High level of comfort with learning new skills and/or working with unfamiliar topic areas
      • Strong self-starting and self-motivation skills

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience or course work relevant to: HIV, communication campaigns, or data analytics

      Travel Requirements:

      • Minimal travel will be required for this position (up to 10%)

      Job Location(s): This role will be hybrid out of Rockville, MD or Atlanta, GA

      Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

      The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

      $59,469.00 - $101,098.00
