Coordinate multi-site studies to treat posttraumatic stress disorder and related problems in Veterans. Screen, consent and assess participants, prepare and submit regulatory documents and reports to IRB and funding sites,
oversee all aspects of study flow.
Under general supervision, performs clinical research work for clinical trials focused on treating posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related problems (e.g,. substance use disorder, trauma-related guilt) in veterans. Functions as coordinator across study sites to ensure consistency in procedures.
· Contacts, recruits, consents, screens, and assesses potential participants.
· Assists sites with regulatory documents
· Facilitates all aspects of ongoing studies.
· Schedules and coordinates study visits.
· Collects and records study data, including verbal screenings and administering of questionnaires.
· Develops institutional review board (IRB) applications and annual renewals.
· Develops quarterly and annual reports for funding agencies.
· Maintains and updates study procedure documents.
· Complies with safety and security policies and procedures.
· Reports potential unsafe conditions.
· Works well with others.
· May perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field from an accredited college or university AND at least 3 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
