      Job summary

      Applications are invited for a Research Associate or Nurse at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, working under the supervision of Professor Huw Morris. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary research team and will contribute to the continued success of three research projects into Parkinson's disease and Atypical Parkinsonism Syndromes.

      The position is based at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). The post holder will play an important role in recruitment, liaising with participants and the organisation of study logistics, administration of neuropsychological tests and assisting in the collection patient blood and spinal fluid samples.

      The post is available immediately and is funded by the NIHR clinical research network for 12 months in the first instance.

      We are keen to hear from enthusiastic Research Associates or Nurses who are keen to develop their research career, with a particular interest in neurodegeneration and neurogenetics.

      NHNN is a national and international leading centre of research, working collaboratively to expedite the translation of new insights from basic disease mechanisms into experimental medicine studies, clinical trials, treatments and rehabilitation techniques for the benefit of people with neurological disorders.
