Job Description

Support RBC’s Global Large-Cap Precious Metals Mining Analyst by providing fundamental mining equity and commodity research
Develop detailed company, industry, and macroeconomic financial models
Compose written research, presentations, and summary communications
Analyze financial statements, company updates, and industry data
Cultivate relationships with coverage companies, institutional investors, and RBC Capital Markets teammates
An undergraduate degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
English fluency, as well as advanced communication skills
Strong computer skills (Excel) with ability to quickly learn new platforms
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and ability to perform under pressure
Demonstrated passion for equity/financial markets
Prior work experience in the natural resources sector or a research-related role
A CA/CMA, MBA, CFA designation or CFA exam enrollment is preferred
