  What will you do?

  • Support RBC’s Global Large-Cap Precious Metals Mining Analyst by providing fundamental mining equity and commodity research

  • Develop detailed company, industry, and macroeconomic financial models

  • Compose written research, presentations, and summary communications

  • Analyze financial statements, company updates, and industry data

  • Cultivate relationships with coverage companies, institutional investors, and RBC Capital Markets teammates

  What do you need to succeed?

  Must-have:

  • An undergraduate degree in Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics)

  • English fluency, as well as advanced communication skills

  • Strong computer skills (Excel) with ability to quickly learn new platforms

  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and ability to perform under pressure

  • Demonstrated passion for equity/financial markets

  Nice-to-have:

  • Prior work experience in the natural resources sector or a research-related role

  • A CA/CMA, MBA, CFA designation or CFA exam enrollment is preferred
