Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI) The Research Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of research projects conducted within Nova Scotia Health. This coordination includes the administration of the study/clinical trial, caring for the subjects participating in the study and the management of documents and data collected throughout the study period.
We would love to hear from you if you have
• Degree or diploma in a related health profession or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be accepted
• Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required
• BLS-C (HCP) Certification Required
• CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or equivalent an asset
• Training in ICH/GCP guidelines preferred
• Completion of TCP Tri Council Policy and Division 5 an asset
• Completion of Sink or Swim program an asset
• Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations & basic laboratory procedures an asset
• Demonstrated clinical and assessment skills related to the scope required for a particular study and participant population
• Knowledge of nursing standards, protocols required
• Proficiency in specialized technology programs related to the study
• Effective interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Effective research and analytical thinking skills
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and rapport-building skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Previous research experience an asset
• Strong knowledge base in Clinical Trials including clinical research experience an asset
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office software required
• Competencies in other languages an asset; French preferredHours of Work
Long Assignment, Full-Time (75 hours bi-weekly)
Beginning April 3, 2022 until April 3, 2024.
Dates are approximate and are subject to change.Salary Information
$33.08 - $41.35 hourly
($64,510.10 - $80,637.57 annually)
