Position InformationPosition Title Research Faculty Position Number 5326 FTE 1.0 Division College of Medicine Department 720600 - Physiology and Cell Biology Posting Detail InformationPosition Details The Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine is seeking to fill one research-intensive tenure-track assistant/associate professor position. The applicant’s research focus must align with existing faculty interests, which include cardiovascular, pulmonary, neural, cancer, and mitochondrial biology, biomedical imaging, mechanics and modeling. Successful candidates will contribute to the college’s graduate and medical education missions. We are seeking individuals who are highly engaged and work well with basic and clinical collaborators. Competitive applicants must have Ph.D. and/or M.D. degrees, postdoctoral experience, and a demonstrated aptitude in competing for extramural grant support.
