The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration
· Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital
· AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida
· The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease
The role you’ll contribute:
The Research Fellow is a 12-month position designed for post-Bachelors candidates to gain research experience and knowledge through assistance in development of the research portfolio for the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI) and designated therapeutic-area research department. As a member of the team, the Research Fellow will utilize their clinical knowledge and skills to assist with research studies including assisting with proposals, protocols, and procedures. The Research Fellow participates in investigator-initiated research and may support Industry, Pharmaceutical, National Institute of Health (NIH) and government sponsored work that drives AHRI scientific strategies. The Research Fellow will participate in the full spectrum of research activities including literature reviews, data collection, cataloging of imaging, statistical analysis, abstract preparation, and creation of presentation materials. The Research Fellow will support to ensure all research performed is in compliance with all AdventHealth, AHRI, local, state, and federal laws, policies and procedures. The Research Fellow will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

· Participates in investigator-initiated research and supports Industry, Pharmaceutical, National Institute of Health (NIH) and government sponsored research
· Utilizes clinical knowledge and skills to assist with related clinical research studies.
· Assists with drafting, design and implementation of research proposals, protocols and procedures.
· Assists with analysis of research data in collaboration with Biostatisticians and other research team members.
· Attends and contributes to research meetings, seminars and academic conferences under the direction of the Scientific Director,, Senior Research Fellow or Research Academic Ecosystem leadership.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: ( Taleo)
· Basic knowledge of development process for clinical or basic science research ideas
· Computer skills including, but not limited to experience with Microsoft Office
· Must be detail oriented
· Must have the ability to multi-task
· Must be able to think critically and demonstrate deductive reasoning and decision making
· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
· Bachelors degree or international equivalent in scientific, health science or realtedfield
· Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience (Preferred)
· One (1) year experience in medical research (Preferred)
