Job Summary
Summary
Excellent record keeping skills are an absolute requirement. Detailed accounting of planning, execution, and analysis of experiments is mandatory. Applicant should have the fundamental skills necessary to plan, execute, and analyze experiments in a semi-independent manner. Additionally, the applicant will refine these skills while developing the ability to anticipate potential pitfalls and complications and minimize their contribution or to overcome them once they appear. It is expected that the position will require analysis of diverse sets of information and data to form a cohesive and thoughtful hypothesis and then generating a series of experiments to drive the project forward. Fundamental to testing these hypotheses is learning how to interpret data and troubleshoot experiments. Also essential is the preparation of presentations and reports to provide a platform to summarize experimental accomplishments and learning experiences.
