      Req#: 271420
      The Research Operations Manager duties includes, but is not limited to: lab inventory management, purchasing, fiscal and administrative services, management of human subject studies (including IRB submissions and renewals), keep track of progression of various lab members, determining lab member training needs and facilitating soft-skills training, and human resources management.

      The manager is expected to align resources and assets of the lab to support ongoing research projects. Identify underlying issues and resolve conflicts so as to remove bottlenecks. Assist in the preparation of management information reports. Take the initiative in assuming responsibilities that will relieve the team of operational activities.

      Serve as liaison with internal and external parties to gather information, channel feedback, as well as advise and resolve conflicts on behalf of the team. Receives and disseminates sensitive information to the PI and key research members. Prepare agenda and meeting reports and maintain confidentiality. Assess workflow and suggest improvements to operations, including new procedures, documentation and training.
