The position
Due to the rapid expansion, we have a new position as a Research Scientist within molecular biology available. The position is a balanced mix of wet-lab development, routine work, and interpretation/reporting of results. Important for the position is timely development and validation of molecular biology assays related to techniques like qPCR, digital PCR, Sanger and Next Generation Sequencing. Other molecular biology methods may also be in scope since the team are developing into new areas.
You can look forward to using your skills and talent not only in our department, but across Drug Development which covers analysis, cell banking, drug product development and stability testing within the entire Research & Early Development (R&ED) clinical portfolio.Qualifications
You hold a Master of Science preferably combined either with a PhD within molecular biology, pharmacy, biomedicine, cell biology, biochemistry or relevant practical experience from the pharmaceutical, hospital or biotech industry.

In addition, it is critical to be able to promote collaboration with other parts of the organisation, as the position requires close interaction with our many different stakeholders

As a person, you are an independent person that drives initiatives to reach goals and meet necessary deadlines. Handling several tasks at the same time, and never losing sight of the end goal is very important. Lastly, you have good communication skills and a positive and curious mind-set.

About the Department
In CMC Bioanalysis at the Novo Nordisk site in Måløv, we develop assays for analysis cell banks, in process samples, drug substance and drug product samples for the entire Novo Nordisk project portfolio in clinical trials all over the world.
We are around 55 people organized in three teams, and you will join a team of 16 highly skilled and dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians who work closely together on projects to deliver on time at the required quality.
