Job Description
- Req#: 89672BR
- Conduct volatiles analysis of beverage, confectionary and savory samples in the Analytical Flavor Insight Berlin department
- Execution of sample preparation, analyses and data interpretation (GC-FID-MS, GCO)
- Development of qualitative and quantitative GC-MS analysis methods, special projects
- Maintenance and repairs of the instruments
- Independent, close cooperation with the flavor creation department
- Verbal and written exchange with other analytical teams within ADM
- Min. Bachelor (+ 5 years experience)/Master degree (+ 3 years experience in relevant area) in food chemistry, chemistry, pharmacy or an equivalent course
- Hands on experience in GC, GC-MS, analysis and characterization of volatile substances. Experience in flavor or fragrance analysis would be a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
- Solid experience in instrument software for analytic systems and MS-evaluation software (Agilent)
- Pronounced diligence, flexibility and personal initiative as well as strong communication skills, equipped with a team player mind set
- Business fluent language skills in English, German would be a plus
- Working in a global team
