What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide phone coverage for incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate staff members
- Resolve customer service issues and pharmacy network problems to ensure client satisfaction
- Assist with on-site client orientation, health fairs, and business conferences
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare sector
- Exceptional phone and listening skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare-related customer service position
- Familiarity with pharmacy benefits management (PBM) systems
- Bilingual skills in English and another language
- Experience with data entry and record-keeping
- Knowledge of health insurance terminology and processes
