      Position Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Consulting with Motus station owners on making tower upgrades and troubleshooting problems.
      • Making upgrades and/or repairs to existing Motus stations.
      • Managing and analyzing Motus data.
      • Working to identify landowners willing to host Motus stations.
      • Contributing to manuscripts based on Motus data.

      Essential Duties:

      Research: Consulting with Motus station owners on making tower upgrades and troubleshooting problems; Making upgrades and/or repairs to existing Motus stations; Managing and analyzing Motus data; Working to identify landowners willing to host Motus stations; Contributing to manuscripts based on Motus data.

      Minimum Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
      • 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
      • Experience working with stations in the Motus Wildlife Tracking System, including setup and takedown.
      • Experience managing and analyzing data from Motus.
      • Ability to work remotely on consultation with Motus station owners.

      Desirable Qualifications:

      • Graduate degree in Natural Resources, Biological Sciences, Ecology, or related field.
      • 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
      • Record of peer-reviewed publication in Natural Sciences or related fields.

      This job profile is a Research Technician 3 (T3 level) position on the career roadmap.

      The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
