The Ohio State University seeks a full‐time researcher for one year to conduct stakeholder needs assessment for the project entitled—"UNIFY: Universal Feedstock Supply Chain Logistics for Sustainable, Climate-Smart Feed, Fiber, and Fuel”. This project is focused on harvest and post-harvest logistics and preprocessing of major U.S. crops for sustainable production of feed, fiber and biofuels.
Key responsibilities: The successful applicant will lead research design, collect data, conduct data analysis, and write up results of comprehensive needs assessment of stakeholders engaged in the biomass supply chain (producers, equipment manufacturers, processors, educators, commodity groups, agency personnel, etc.).

Duty Description
25%: Research design: Design and implement systematic literature reviews to inform research design.
35%: Conduct needs assessment: Initiate and lead new research culminating in a needs assessment of target stakeholders. This will involve design, recruitment and data collection for interviews, focus groups, and sequential questionnaires with identified stakeholders.
25%: Data analysis: Code and analyze qualitative data.
15%: Reporting: Write descriptive report of the methods used and results obtained.
