      Grade UE05: £25,742 to £29,605 per annum (A revised salary range for this grade of £27,979 to £32,332 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024)

      Contract type: Full-time (35 hours per week)

      Fixed-term: 2 years

      The Opportunity:

      We are looking for an experienced Research Technician to join our molecular genetics laboratory. The aim of the Brown lab (https://brownlab.co.uk/) is to understand genetic mechanisms leading to atopic eczema – an itchy inflammatory skin condition. We are a multidisciplinary group, using primary cell and organoid cultures, with genetic manipulation and functional analyses, to learn more about eczema with the ultimate aim of designing new and better treatments. The lab technician will work closely with postdocs, students and Prof Sara Brown, contributing valuable skills to our team approach.
