      Position Highlights Under the supervision of an Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher, this position will involve learning to apply computer code to analyze data taken by the ATLAS Experiment at CERN. The employee will write python-based code to identify ATLAS events arising from specific physics processes-of-interest. The employee will regularly report on their progress to senior researchers and document their code for future researchers to utilize.

      Duties & Responsibilities
      • Under the supervision of senior researchers, create python-based code to study Di-Higgs Boson production at the ATLAS Experiment.
      • Under supervision, document the code for future use by other researchers, such as writing instructions so that someone in the future could know how to run the code without needing to fully understand the code itself.
      Minimum Qualifications
      • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
