- entering orders or requests for raw materials accurately and in a timely manner and printing out the necessary register
- ensuring order registers are picked up by plant order person and he/she delivers product in a timely fashion.
- ensuring the efficient return of unused raw materials to inventory
- reserving freezer space for the daily plant production in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with preset guidelines; printing out the production register and distributing as necessary
- having knowledge of warehouse dumps procedure and handling those not requiring upper management approval
- reserving product for outbound shipments, double-checking for errors or problems, according to preset guidelines
- assisting the high lift operators and bunchers in keeping the pick lanes sufficiently filled to allow for speedy shipment of trucks by running pick lane replenishment registers when requested
- Identifies problems at his/her assigned work tasks on an on-going basis and determines if solution is within his/her training and knowledge; if so, corrects problem; if not or if not sure, communicates to appropriate person for solution.
- PC skills include strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, and applications to include Microsoft Word and Excel
- Develops and maintains a good working relationship with Shipping Team Coordinator and other manages, department managers, and other co-workers. Resolves problems and conflicts in an acceptable manner that shows respect for the other person(s).
- Cooperates and shows commitment to department goals and efforts.
- Works to understand overall impact of his/her job on department productivity and plant profitability; maintains high level of personal productivity and contributes suggestions for work process improvement to Shipping Team Coordinator or at department meetings .

PURPOSE STATEMENT
Accomplish the flow of all raw materials and finished products into and out of the freezer using the Warehouse Management System by performing certain assigned tasks manually entering various forms into the computer system, checking and distributing reports and registers, etc. Contributes to the profit and well-being of the Company by performing tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, quality-conscious, and cost-conscious manner and by working in a cooperative manner with his/her supervisor and co-workers.
