      Location: Twin Towers , 5343 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224
      Shifts Available:
      • 7:00 am - 7:15 pm, Full Time and Part Time Shifts available
      What is Your Role? Our Resident Aides provide quality nursing care to our older adult residents working in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. Resident Aides will interact with residents assisting with activities of daily living and answering call lights.

      Position Summary
      The Resident Aide is responsible for facilitating safe operations in accordance with federal state and local regulations and standards. Providing residents with routine, daily, quality care, and assisting with individualized attention, according to the resident’s assessment and care plan, Resident Aides encourage residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. This position ensures resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality, and is knowledgeable of recent events which may have an impact on each resident. The Resident Aide promotes a positive, calm and effective work environment that contributes to teamwork. This position requires excellent communication skills with team members, residents and family members and a high level of patience and compassion for others.
      Essential Functions
      Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
      • Participates in report upon the start and end of each shift
      • Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated, and proper disposal of soiled materials
      • Assists residents with activities of daily living which include bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility/ambulation.
      • Provide menu choice tickets/collect tickets, assists dining staff with serving meals and with creating an exceptional dining experience for the residents
      • Launders residents’ belongings
      • Admissions, transfers and discharge functions as assigned by supervisor
      • Other duties, as assigned by Nurse or member of Nursing leadership
      Required Education and Experience
      • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
      • Previous experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital preferred
      • Must possess a customer service background and orientation
