      We are looking for a Resident Services Specilaist to join our team in Burnsville, MN! This position assists residents living in HUD independent living to obtain needed supportive services from the community, to enable them to continue living as independently as possible and age in place in their homes. This services schedule includes:

      Responsibilites:

      • Provide case management
      • Complete and submit, timely and accurately, all records, reports, and documents required by the property and federal and/or state agencies
      • Provide information and resources to be used by property staff, residents, and their family members
      • Establish contacts with agencies and service providers in the community
      • Performs other duties required by the specific housing community

      Required Qualifications:

      • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
      • Annual HUD Training (obtain 12 hours of training annually)
      • Three to five years of previous experience
      • Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax machines
      • MS Office, Excel, and Word
      • Thorough knowledge of community services

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree: Social Work, Gerontology, Psychology or Counseling
      • Minnesota Social Worker License
      • AASC Certification
      • Five to ten years of previous experience
