      Job Summary

      This is a 10-month, benefits eligible position, with the ability to maintain residency and benefits over 12 months.

      As a live-in Student Life professional, the Residential Coordinator will maintain high visibility with residents and foster the development of living and learning communities that enhance student learning and success. The Residential Coordinator will deliver educational programming, provide student advocacy and support, participate in regular on-call duty rotation, supervise student staff and serve as a low-level conduct officer of the Residential Commons. The Residential Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the building(s) and the corresponding student staff members.

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Preference given to candidates with previous residence hall and student leadership experience
      • Ability to travel to on-campus and off-campus locations within the Capital District as a requirement of on-call duties
      • US Driver license preferred

      Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

      Shift

      As a live-in professional, this position offers the incumbents the flexibility to attend to daytime responsibilities by balancing those needs against the weekend/evening component of the position.

      Local travel between campus locations only

      Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use

      Total Compensation and Benefits Information

      $36,000 (10 months/yr). The incumbent will have the ability to maintain housing and utilities provided by the institute year-round.

      The starting salary above represents the Institute's good faith estimate at the time of posting.
