  About Four Seasons Istanbul Private Residences

  The Four Seasons Private Residences are situated right where the districts of Ulus, Etiler and Levent converge, at the heart of a location which pulses with life and culture.

  History and future, contemporary and traditional civilization, and art and pop culture all come together in one place, as the region showcases the city’s most upscale shopping districts, renowned culinary destinations, and dynamic entertainment options. The Etiler neighbourhood of the Besiktas district, is one of the most prestigious and exclusive residential area of Istanbul, on the European side of the Bosphorus.

  The property will be spread over multiple low-rise buildings, consisting of 82 apartments, in the range from 3-6 bedrooms. Operated by Four Seasons, the homeowners experience best in class amenities including a Bar-Lounge Area, Meeting Room, Kid’s Playroom, Golf Simulator, Cinema, Pool, and Fitness/Spa facilities.

  As part of the residence team in a Four Seasons standalone residential property, you will have a unique opportunity to continue to define and establish the operating model for standalone Four Seasons Private Residences.

  As the leader in branded residences, Four Seasons currently operates 53 residential properties in 21 countries and 65% of the projects in our pipeline contain a residential component.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  The Residential Engineer d iagnose s prov ide service and repairs to residential equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating . Additionally, they respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum Residential satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ guidelines and policies.

  TASKS

  • Diagnose and perform all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building

  • Perform a variety of building maintenance duties including painting and wallpapering, window installation and repair, floor tile replacement, door hanging and repairing, and exterior wall surfaces

  • Perform a variety of carpentry duties as assigned including repairing walls, doors and trim; repair beds, tables, lockers, gate locks and fences

  • Replace burned out and defective fluorescent tubes and light bulbs; replace burned out ballasts, broken light switches, duplex receptacles, pla tes, and other plug receptacles

  • Repair bathroom plumbing; replace or repair leaking faucets and damaged vanity s inks; unclog toilets, shower and sink drains

  • Maintain heating and refrigeration units, replace f ilters and clean vents; repair coolers

  • Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department

  • Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment an d update appropriate logs

  • Respond to residents’ feedback regarding maintenance of common area s in a timely manner

  • Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.

  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Em ployee Handbook

  ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary

  • Assist with energy conservation programs of the property

  • Support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations , associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

  
  SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

  • Fluent in English, reading and writing

  • Secondary education or equivalent experience

  • Experience required by position is from 3 months to 1 full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization

  • Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance

  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the- j ob or through a series of professional certifications

  • Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment

  • Previous IT experience and IT knowledge
