- Receives telephone/intercom system calls or visitors to the residential location, determines the nature of the call or visit and then directs the call or visitor to the appropriate persons or channels.
- Monitors video cameras on grounds.
- Monitors the security/fire protection system, completes the necessary monitoring documentation, and follows the protocols when an alarm sounds. Operates two-way radio to communicate with the Shift Supervisor and Transportation/Driver(s).
- Receives and distributes petty cash to patients and staff members and maintains account ledgers. Handles incoming and outgoing clinic mail bag. Photocopies and types reports and other documents for management staff.
- High school graduation or G.E.D. required.
- One year of experience as a receptionist with light typing preferred.
About the company
The Residential Rehabilitation Receptionist controls the communication system at the residential site as well as handling duties of office management such as copying, typing, and distributing supplies and petty cash. Work is full time and may be mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnights in this 24-hour/7-day per week residential facility. Work is performed inside at the residential site. The residential site may be a home and/or an apartment complex which may have two stories; if two stories, the top story is accessible by one flight of stairs.
Shift : Wednesday – Sunday, 2:30pm-11:30pm
