Performs Safety Duties & AssignmentsCarries out a variety of safety-related tasks to ensure the security and well-being of the facility, individuals served, and staff.
Contributes to Treatment Plans & De-Escalation StrategiesParticipates in treatment planning by providing input into goals, objectives, and strategies for de-escalation and safety.
Observes & Provides RedirectionObserves individuals served, offering de-escalation and redirection as needed to manage behaviors and prevent escalation.
Monitors & Tracks Environmental SafetyConducts regular inspections of equipment, systems, and physical structures to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
Provides Emergency Response & SupportResponds to emergencies, assists with disruptive or violent behaviors, and collaborates with clinical and medical staff to address safety concerns.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Able to handle conflict effectively.
- Required: Must meet minimum age requirements as defined by the State certification/licensing authority or contract.

You’ll oversee all internal areas of the facility, maintaining accountability and promoting a sense of safety throughout. Your role is crucial in maintaining a supportive and well-managed space, where both individuals and staff can thrive.
