Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Respiratory Therapist at Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma . The location is 30 minutes north of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Position Highlights:

• Full time 36-48 hours per week for 6-12 months
• Rotating schedule, will be required to cover day and night shifts
• Contract employee position, great salary and benefits

Position Requirements:

• Certified or registered in Respiratory Therapy by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Minimum of Associates Degree from an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program
• Independently perform all respiratory procedures
• Responsible for a wide variety of complex and exacting procedures to patients of all ages, including acute and critical care.
• Establishes mechanical ventilation for critical newborn, pediatric, and adult patients using a variety of pressure and volume ventilators.
• Responsible for maintaining a patient airway during resuscitation and mechanical ventilation.
• Assists with oral intubations: establishes and maintains stability of artificial airway , maintains appropriate cuff pressures.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in critical care setting
