Job Description

- Plan and conduct engaging activities for adults and children, ensuring a fun and inclusive experience.
- Facilitate interactive games and participate in all scheduled resort special events.
- Propose new activity ideas to enhance program variety and guest satisfaction.
- Acquire, organize, and maintain supplies needed for activities and functions.
- Monitor and document guest participation through daily activity logs.
- Enforce safety rules and procedures during all guest-facing activities.
- Maintain and track departmental budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Provide guests with recommendations and information about local attractions.
- Demonstrate motivation, ambition, and a commitment to high-performance service.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and operate independently when needed.
- Perform additional tasks within the Activities Department as assigned.
- Answer phones and courtesy calls professionally and courteously.
- Assist with guest registration, including check-in/out, key distribution, and reservation confirmations.
- Share VI program information and confirm bookings upon request.
- Maintain and update the service request database, dispatching tasks to relevant departments.
- Follow up to confirm completion of guest service requests across maintenance and housekeeping teams.
- Support other Front Desk functions as directed.
- Note: Duties are specific to this resort location and may vary slightly based on operational needs.
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service in hospitality or recreation settings.
- Background in event planning or hosting recreational activities preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
- Front desk experience, including phone etiquette and reservation systems, is a plus
- Current driver's license
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Courses in hospitality, tourism, or recreation are a plus.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays, based on resort needs
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with all people including but not limited to co-workers and owners/guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, and participate in physical activities for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and transport supplies (up to 25 lbs).
