      Overview

      Maintain the CAP4Kids Columbus website (www.cap4kids.org/columbus), reach out to families and community social service organizations to use up-to-date resources on the CAP4Kids website, and support outreach initiatives.

      Schedule: Part-time (28 hours per week)

      Responsibilities

      • Meet with community social service organizations, schools, government entities and providers to share information about CAP4Kids
      • Respond to and manage emails received from the CAP4Kids email listserv
      • Collaborate with other areas of the hospital in connecting families in need with resources
      • Attend community events (health fairs, job fairs, school events)
      • Assist with hospital and community presentations
      • Update the CAP4Kids website and verify agency listings, ensuring contact information is up to date and checking broken links
      • Maintain the website by adding and deleting resources using the website administration tool
      • Establish and maintain contact information for community agencies who offer human / social service assistance
      • Promote CAP4Kids resources to internal and external stakeholders
      • Organize strategic mailings and manage mailing lists and materials distribution
      • Create, edit and publish monthly e-newsletter highlighting community resources for families and providers
      • Assist marketing intern in social media management
      • Attend weekly CAP4Kids team meetings
      • Order and manage marketing materials
      • Supervise and train volunteers, interns and social work students
      • Assist physician lead with identified tasks and offer administrative support (i.e. schedule meetings with community partners, type letters, monitor timelines, etc.)

      Qualifications

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

      Experience:

      • Working knowledge of Excel and Word
      • A self-motivated learner that takes initiative and can work independently to complete tasks
      • Ability to effectively and creatively present information in both written and oral form
      • Accuracy and attention to detail along with strong organizational skills
      • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff, donors, and volunteers
      • Experience with social media and marketing is a plus
