What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct patient assessments and interpret clinical data
- Implement and evaluate the plan of care for respiratory procedures
- Provide care for patients requiring ventilator assistance and complex respiratory devices
- Perform comprehensive ventilator management and monitor cardiopulmonary status
- Maintain emergency airway equipment and perform diagnostic studies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) within three months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for adult care therapists
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification for neonatal therapists
- Associate Degree in Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Therapy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT)
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT)
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
