- Provide diagnosis and treatment of patients with pulmonary and cardiovascular disorders
- Collect and analyze of sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases as well as measurement of the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function
- Gather data and document information
- Participate in patient education efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of respiratory disease principles, practices, standards and techniques
- Knowledge of safe oxygen handling techniques
- General knowledge of labor and delivery process
- Ability to operate in-house and transport ventilators, EKG machines/equipment, pulse oximeters, PFT equipment, ABG, and similar equipment
- Above average customer service skills

Purpose of Position:
Provide professional respiratory therapy to the patients of NSHC, ensuring quality assurance, scheduling, productivity, and budget.
