      Job Title: Part-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist – Evaluation & Education Focus
      Location: The McGuire Group
      Schedule: Flexible Hours |Part-Time or Per-Diem| $34.00/hour to $38.00/hour

      At The McGuire Group, we’re seeking a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist (RT) who is passionate about guiding others—not just treating symptoms. This role is perfect for an experienced RT who thrives in a consultative, educational role and wants to use their knowledge to support both patients and staff in a long-term care setting.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and risk evaluations

      • Educate residents, families, and facility staff on pulmonary care plans and preventive strategies

      • Use your clinical experience to train others in best practices, safe equipment use, and early intervention techniques

      • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reduce hospitalizations and improve outcomes

      • Support compliance and quality improvement efforts across the facility

      What We’re Looking For:

      • Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT or RRT) in New York State

      • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

      • Strong communication and teaching skills

      • A passion for coaching, mentoring, and making respiratory care accessible to others

      • Compassionate, patient-focused mindset

      • 1-2 years experience
