- Ability to perform the following:
- ABG machine,
- Ventilator management,
- EKGs & EEGs Chest PT,
- Arterial punctures
- Pulmonary Functions
- Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a Certificate of Completion from an AMA accredited program in Respiratory care is required.
- Certification/Licensure:
- MA Respiratory Care licensure, including 261 CMR 5.00 Continuing Education Requirement. (Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT))
- Current BLS, and ACLS preferred.
- Experience: 1 years of acute care experience care preferred.
- Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Position Summary:
Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is a professional member of the healthcare team who provides skilled respiratory care to newborns through geriatrics under the direction/orders of a physician. The RT assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases and related disorders in a professional and competent manner. RT participates in providing patient and family education. The RT may assess a patient’s respiratory status and recommend appropriate therapy.
