- Greet and seat guests, ensuring a welcoming and memorable first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, catering to guests’ dietary needs and preferences
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas
- Assist with dining setup and service for events and private functions
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar and wine teams to ensure smooth service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A warm and friendly approach to service
- Team-oriented mindset with a flexible and proactive attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – with a can do attitude and confidence with speaking to guests we can enable you to grow
- Competitive pay of £12.60 per hour (£26,208 FTE) PLUS a share in hotel tips

We are recruiting for our restaurants in both Scarlet and Bedruthan Hotels - join our dynamic and progressive teams, challenging the norms of hospitality and coastal dining experiences.
What makes a RED Food & Beverage Host?
Our Food & Beverage Hosts are the face of our restaurants, café, and bars. Ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from sunrise to sunset, this varied role hosts a range of dining experiences - from breakfast to seven-course tasting menus. We pride ourselves on an inclusive environment, tailoring menus to our guests' needs and requirements. Our hosts are focused, taking care and attention performing their role. Present and engaging, they anticipate what is needed.
Who do we want?
This is a guest-facing role, focused on delivering seamless dining experiences with professionalism and warmth. You will work closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure service excellence, all while creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
