- Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Must be able to explain the chef's specialties; identify appropriate wines; answer food preparation questions
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
- Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording resident choices; identifying Resident special dietary needs and special requests
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs
- Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
- Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; returning credit card and signature slip to Resident
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.
- Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Position Description
Be part of our newest restaurant: The Helm at Del Webb Wildlight! We are now hiring a Part-Time Restaurant Server to join our opening team!!
The restaurant is located in our beautiful club house “The Horizon Club”. The Helm will showcase seasonal American comfort food in a casual dining setting. The restaurant's seasonally changing menu will capture the conviviality of home in a resort style setting.
The Helm is able to seat approximately 120 guests, including a full indoor/outdoor bar that will offer signature cocktails, local beers, and wine. The restaurant features a central outdoor courtyard which leads to a resort style pool deck. In addition, the Horizon Club also features a Grand Ballroom which seats approximately 160 guests. As with our Del Webb Nocatee location, The Helm showcases authentic, seasonally driven fare and is set against a beautiful modern coastal interior.
The Helm will operate 5 days a week and will be closed all major holidays. Team members are required to work no more than 8 hours per day. The restaurant closes at 9pm... no more late nights! Our restaurants are founded on a culture of mentorship and provide a solid foundation of skills to support our profession.
Job Overview:
As a Server, you’ll be responsible for resident interaction with the dining program for the community. From daily operations of the restaurant and bar, to catering and special events. This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the face of the dining experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards and authentically delivering on our Values and Global Service Standards.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour plus tips. Tipped Employees will earn a competitive hourly base salary plus 18% gratuities.
