Job Description

- Develop and maintain an organized list of target accounts in the territory
- Achieve key performance indicators on cases sold, displays sold, and new distribution availability
- Sell KDP products (with a focus on Non-Carbonated portfolio) to retailers in coordination with local distributors
- Call on target accounts in key markets on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities
- Enhance the business, brand visibility, and availability by gaining new distribution
- Work collaboratively with distributors and drive best practices, acting as a coach to, and major contributor/peer leader when working with other distributor vendor representatives
- Analyze monthly sales reports to identify opportunities, assess under-performing accounts or potential loss of distribution within the account.
- Manage, build and move displays and/or product to establish best location for sales on all company products as necessary in assigned stores
- Direct and support consumer and retail activity by working closely with the Field Marketing team
- Open new accounts, grow brand distribution & case volume of independent of distributor sales team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key retail accounts
- Develop and maintain store level relationships with key chain accounts
- Audit individual accounts after each visit

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Beverage/DSD Distributor Management experience or CPG experience (3+ years)
- Ability to travel 30% of the time required
- Experience with nonalcoholic beverage industry preferred
- Retail account management experience preferred
- Ability to manage and analyze sales data; trade/business analytics
- Ability to work in extremely fast-paced and evolving hyper-growth environment
- Experience working successfully within the constraints of a growing business
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and share key market insights such as IRI data
- Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle to travel and transport promotional merchandise between accounts within assigned territory
- Must be able to stand, walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to stretch/place product on overhead shelving
- Must be able to balance on ladders
- Experience selling in C stores and Walmart prefer.

The Retail Activation Specialist will report to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for identifying new prospects then soliciting, selling and ensuring proper placement of product in retail outlets. The Retail Activation Specialist will represent the company to distributor partners in all sales-oriented activities. This person will utilize strategic thinking to create joint business plans, influence internal stakeholders, and solve highly complex customer challenges.
Coverage Territory : This is a remote position while located and working the Macon, Tifton, Albany, Columbus and Augusta market.
