- Believe and demonstrate through their work the GSR Vision and Mission Statement.
Provide guest service to our customers while performing cashiering duties.
- Organize and maintain appearance of assigned retail outlet.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction.
- Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, Hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
- Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, room charges and comp slips; make change as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and insure vouchers are properly executed in order to properly balance all monetary transactions.
- Make deposits/cash drops, complete appropriate cashier paperwork/reports, balance and secure bank.
- Keep shop organized and neat in appearance i.e., dust, straighten, stack, etc.
- Check all incoming stock against invoices to make sure that the correct quantities are being received.
Other duties may be assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others. Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
