Manage and develop specialized teams of managers and high-level individual contributors responsible for managing dealer relationships by developing business strategies resulting in growing existing relationships and prospecting and cultivating new opportunities. Ultimately responsible for leading, managing and growing specific geographic markets
Identify opportunities and implement strategies and objectives for sales and relationship management teams focused on retail automotive dealers within assigned territory market
Lead Retail Auto Relationship Management team by making strategic decisions to attain business growth and financial objectives
Develop and implement policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Retail Auto Relationship Management
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
8+ years of Retail Auto Relationship Management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Auto industry experience, ideally across sales, relationship management, strategy and support, and originations teams
Experience leading sales or client portfolio management teams in the indirect auto lending space
Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives enterprise-wide
Proven ability to facilitate high impact conversations, manage and build relationships with leaders and team members, navigate conflict and negotiate for an outcome that balances the needs of the business
Experience successfully partnering with sales senior leadership
Experience positively influencing, motivating, and directing teams in a decentralized, and geographically dispersed environment
Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience delivering effective presentations and communicating complex concepts in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
Experience successfully leading teams through transformational change and ambiguity
Operational risk management experience in the auto industry, including strong understanding of automotive regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to travel up to 55% of the time
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
100% Remote work location is available for this position. Candidate will need to reside in the Central U.S., including Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Michigan.
