      Retail Finance Back Office Manager

      As RFBO manager you will coordinate retail finance back-office team that provides support on fiscal, admin and compliance matters to the Richemont Boutiques in Italy and Greece, for all Maison belonging to Richemont Group. Networking with brand management and boutique managers is part of this role, for sharing procedures and for listening to their needs, for facilitating admin task and preventing fiscal or financial risks. You will also manage ICS activities for the Italian entities, Maison and Richemont Regional Functions (RRF) with support of a dedicated ICS manager. The role reports to the CFO Italy & Greece at Richemont Italia Holding SpA.

      How will you make an impact?

      By interacting with various stakeholders, in fact you will:

      • Coordinate and supervise team of 8 Retail Back Office accountants, as well as supervise Internal Control function
      • Support the retail network (40 internal boutiques) with financial counseling and ensure 7/7 support by the function by
      • Work together with Maison management to ensure compliance objectives
      • Cooperate with accounting & reporting team for monthly reconciliations/ closing
      • Collaborate with suppliers / partners such as Global Blue & Adyen. Control charges

      By ensuring highest standards on RFBO procedures. You will:

      • Supervise daily checks on Stock, on daily closing, payments postings in SAP, etc
      • Perform AML checks on cash transaction in boutique
      • Supervise cycle and annual inventories and i nvestigate discrepancies
      • Coordinate planned and surprise Boutique Audits carried out by the function
      • Follow up request from external authorities, internal or external auditors, Organismo di Vigilanza law 231/01 and Group / Regional / Maison Compliance dpt.

      By planning for the future. You will:

      • Develop new digital flows to facilitate audits and fiscal controls
      • Propose improvements on processes and tools
      • Ensure recurring and adequate training of boutique personnel on Compliance and applicable financial topics
      • Roll out Group projects impacting the retail network
      • Implement new controls and procedures to comply with new law requirements or compliance needs

      How will you experience success with us? You will demonstrate:

      • A solid financial background: 10+ years of experience in controlling, accounting or compliance areas, plus a bachelor or master’s degree in appropriate discipline (i.e. accounting, finance or economics)
      • Your experience with supervising teams, by being a positively challenging and encouraging leader
      • A strong retail processes knowledge, ideally in a group/ multi-brand environment
      • Excellent modelling skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel, /Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint a plus)
      • Ability to multi-task, consistently meeting deadlines on multiple projects and activities
      • Strong verbal and written English and Italian
      • Availability to travel in Italy and Europe (approx. 10%), and to effectively work as a collaborative team member with peers across Europe
