- Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of Orvis products and services, engage customers and to suggest product in an authentic and helpful manner
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to leverage assets across Orvis’ omnichannel retail platform
- Current computer skills and the ability to learn and apply business programs
- Ability to handle ambiguity, use sound judgement, and solve problems for customers
- Creativity and visual merchandising skills are a plus
- Utilizing time between customers to enhance store presentation through merchandising, maintaining standards, and restocking
- Ability to reach, move, and handle merchandise in high and low areas, lift up to 30 pounds, and the stamina to execute floor sets
