      JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

      We are looking for internships in these macro-areas:

      DTC Merchandising : the DTC Merchandise intern will support the DTC Merchandise Manager in the definition of the Merchandise Strategy both in store and online, from the Store Segmentation through the Facings Strategy and relative commercial offer with the goal of increasing store productivity and turnover the market/ retail banner managed.

      The intern will be part of the conversation with all our local team partners as well as all internal cross-functional stakeholders to support the projects and initiatives to drive growth of the business.

      Category Management : An intern in the category function will support the team in the definition of the Brand Assortment at Cluster level, according to retail attributes needs and ensuring brand’s representation. The intern is responsible of improving Assortment Productivity for all the NPIs selection and carry-over leveraging also on discontinuations, according to Brand and Banner strategies. Main kpi’s Retail monitoring (i.e. AAP, Units, ROS, Turn on facing).

      Retail Space Management : An intern in Retail Space Management will support Visual merchandising Retail discovery, dealing with two running projects: Picture masterdata collection and VM Validation. The position will have in scope both EssilorLuxottica and Grand Vision retail network. The intern is expected to provide support and his point of view on the assigned project in order to meet stakeholders expectations and needs. This would mean ensuring a full adoption and constant improvements of Picture Ecosystem (Digital Retail picture masterdata tool) platform, and VM Validation project timeline delivery.

      AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

      • Support the DTC Merchandise Manager with analytics, partnering with merchandise financial planning, on actuals and budget/forecast creation.
      • Work on product analytics and collect local insights to provide to the Category Management team the required targets to drive the optimal product selection.
      • Support the creation of a coherent customer experience in-store and online, by partnering with Space Management / Visual Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce Managers and local assortment execution.
      • Manage documentation and collect different promotional plans to provide a cross-channel view to support the coordination of promotional calendars.
      • Support the DTC Merchandise Manager in the Full management of all key projects and tests from the definition to the implementation.
      • Run weekly, monthly, and ad-Hoc analysis on specific business areas, in partnership with involved external departments.
      • Ability to effectively networking with the different stakeholders.
      • Ability to relate mainly to Product Development including through open skills in the face of the creation of new business opportunities.

      TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

      • Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, engineering or marketing.
      • Strong problem solving and analytical skills alongside commercial attitude.
      • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound data-driven decisions.
      • Good knowledge of brand and product across Fashion industry.

      LANGUAGES:

      Italian

      English

      Other Languages as plus based on market he/she will manage: Spanish, German, French, Japanese
